Impressions of the Cadillac XLR for 2006

The restyled XLR V is equipped with a 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 32 valves. The Northstar engine is mated to a General Motors six-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2005 version.

The two-door car with its rear-wheel drive is positioned to aggressively fill this niche for Cadillac. There is strong competition from vehicles from Honda.

The Cadillac XLR V for 2008: Improving on 2007

The V configuration is powered by the 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 24 highway miles and 15 city. The XLR competes in the Convertible market segment, in direct competition with Hyundai.

First Impressions of the Cadillac XLR for 2008

One of the staples of the Convertible segment is the Cadillac XLR. In the previous model year debuted a brand new version of the XLR with three versions: Platinum, Base, and V.
