Our Review of the 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider

A lot has been said about the Ferrari 360 for 2004. As Ferrari’s entry in the convertible market the 360 (and in this case specically the Spider version) has maintained a solid reputation. The 2-door 360 is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Ferrari as a brand in general.
Performance
The 360 Spider is equipped with a Ferrari 3.6 liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 40 valves. The engine is mated to a Ferrari 6-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Ferrari.
Steering control is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The 360 has power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.
The 2004 360′s normal fuel system runs on gas. The fuel is regulated electronically, with a fuel-injected multi-port fuel injection (MFI) style of design. The fuel tank holds 25.10 gallons.

The dimensions of the 360 Spider are 75.60 inches wide by 176.30 inches long. It sits a comfortable 47.70 inches off the ground. It seats a standard two passengers, with 2 doors. The wheelbase of 102.30 allows for limited leg room for the backseat passengers.

The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $176,075 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of an industry-average price. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 2-door Convertible.
Fuel Efficiency
The 2004 360 gets 16 miles/gallon on the highway and only 11 in the city. This is average for a convertible car.
