The restyled Turbo R LWB is equipped with a 6.7-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The engine is mated to a General Motors four-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 1993 version.

The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The Turbo R uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. Load balancing is provided by coil front springs and coil in the rear.

The dimensions of the Turbo R LWB are inches wide by inches long. It sits inches off the ground. It seats a standard several adults passengers, with 4 doors. The wheelbase of allows for extra leg room for the rear passengers.

The standard warranty period for the Turbo R is 60* months, or 50,000* miles, whichever comes first. This is standard in the sedan market.

The manufacturer retail price (MSRP) was an industry-high price when new. The dealer cost on the car was an industry-high price. This price was high compared to the industry average price for a 4-door Sedan.

Fuel Efficiency

The fuel system for the 1994 Turbo R is a Bosch KE-Motronic design, using gasoline fuel. The fuel flow is controlled by a electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The fuel capacity of the fuel tank is 12 gallons.

The Turbo R LWB received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was exceptional.

What We Think of the Bentley Turbo R

The 1993 model began the promise of the Bentley Turbo R. The 1994 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Bentley hopes that the Turbo R LWB will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
